Can we stop comparing everything to Jim Crow?
I see what you’re trying to do but no.

All oppression is connected.

The one thing I’d say in defense of the comparisons people make between the gay rights movement and civil rights, mixed marriage, and integration into the military is this: the arguments the opposition used then are the same as those used now. To me it’s more of a comparison in regards to the opposition, and their blindness to the fact that they’re saying exactly the same thing as they were then.
A direct comparison between Jim Crow laws and LGBT Rights however, is laughable.
